  • Change

In 18 days my life will change forever.  I know it has changed forever a bunch of times in my last (almost) 29 years, I mean after you eat your first solid food, take your first bath, or draw your first breath it has changed forever.  Some changes just happen, you don't control them, you don't have any say in them.  Others you control but they are not of the same magnitude like eating your first pineapple, going on your first roller coaster, catching your first fish after going fishing for the first time.  Those changes don't really require much thought or consideration, ok so the roller coaster may for some people, they are not the life changes that people dream of, plan for (generally), or stir up much discussion among friends or family.

I think I am ready for it and all the changes it will bring in my life, but I guess I won't know really until it takes full effect, and that won't happen immediately.  Still aren't the best things worth waiting for?  Isn't everything worth having worth the time and effort you put into getting it?  I have heard God call me to things or places three distinct times in my life now.  Here's hoping I can use this change for the reason He brought it into my life.

Change/Challenge, I think they are the same thing sometimes. I'll know more in 18 days.

Until then and even after could you pray for me?  For safety as I make the change and journey, for wisdom, grace, peace, perseverance, and that I would be able to express hope, joy, and God's greatness during this time of change and challenge?

    Thanks,
    OCRosie

  • Praying fro you! :)

  • I love how vague you are. lol... Could be anything from getting a new job to getting married to being pregnant! I shall keep you in my prayers regardless though.

Most of my patients are not defined as "hotties" hahaha... I work on a cardiac floor and most are older, not so good health, diabetic, slightly to morbidly obese pts. Now I have met a few hottie nurses, doctors and other staff! ;) Thanks for thinking of me.
