My room has boxes and packing paper everywhere. I need to clear a path to my two book cases so I can break them down tonight. Crazy- so much still to do but so much already done. Just trying to make sure nothing breaks during the move- so packing it all as securely as I can and trying to keep track of where stuff is. Trying to say goodbye to people, get things to people, and not get too crazy thinking that my time in California is nearly at an end. I have plans to stay with friends outside Portland on my way home. They have added another child since I saw them last. Some people have two kids by now, I have two more degrees. Excited about my future, but sad as I pack up and leave my past.
I’ll be in Washington by this time next week. Crashed out or taking my dad to dinner, depends on how bad the last day of driving is. Crazy.

i’m so sorry to hear that you’ll be moving far away, but i know how great it will be for you to be back with your family. It seems like forever since we watched “kinky boots” and had indian food. i sure wished you could’ve had dinner at our place and met the husband. if you’re ever in the area again, hit me up. and if you ever need an air mattress to crash on, mine is up for grabs. keep in touch and all the best on this new chapter of your life.
